Introduction and aim

SOS Children's Villages Palestine seeks to engage a competent trainer or company to provide capacity building for some of its staff, to enrich, improve and scale up the professional working capacity of finance & non-finance staff in the field of procurement of goods and services and logistics.

Procurement planning and developing a procurement plan

Identify procurement needs

Procurement Process

Choosing a vendor: Fair and open competition

Prior approvals, waivers, and procurement methods & thresholds.

Developing & tools specs, EOI,RFP, RFQ, ITB & other

Procurement documentation, purchase orders, and tender documents

Procurement in emergencies.

Value for money.

Intro to applicable national and international procurement laws.

Deliverables

- Developing training materials, presentation, case studies, pre/post monitoring tool

-Deliver face-to-face training to staff in Bethlehem, SOS premises

-Submit to SOS Palestine final report covering summary of training, pre/post results, findings, learnings and recommendations.

-Moreover, we expect delivering a compilation of training material that could be used for organization’s future HRD.

Training hours

Training Hours: 30 Training Hours / 5 Sessions

Qualifications of the Supplier

Proven and solid knowledge and experience in providing trainings to non-profit organizations staff.

Professional certifications or credentials in development field.

Ability to provide the trainings and materials in English.

Technical capacities to ensure smooth, on time and high quality of Service

Provide ongoing technical support as well as support services
