Providing technical coaching and supervising the provision of psychological, social and health services for families of GBV survivors

MA’AN, in partnership with Norwegian People's Aid (NPA) and funded by Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs (NMFA), is currently implementing the project " Livelihoods Emergency Support for GBV Survivors in the Gaza Strip”. The project aims to enhance resilience, alleviate suffering and maintain human dignity of the most vulnerable Palestinians experiencing humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip by building, protecting productive assets and restoring or creating income generating opportunities to save and sustain lives and achieve greater level of resilience in selected locations of the Gaza Strip.

MA'AN is looking for a qualified consultancy firm to provide technical coaching and supervision services for social, psychological and health counselors within an onsite learning by doing program for teams of two GBV service providers, namely Woman’s Affair Centre (WAC) and Wefaq association for Women and Child Care. It is expected that the consultancy firm will supervise these teams in the preparation and implementation of comprehensive intervention plans that include the provision of social, psychological, and health counselling services for 60 vulnerable families whom within GBV survivors.

This consultancy will include, providing technical coaching and supervision services for:

-Social and psychological counsellors.

-Health counsellors.

Only consultancy firms are eligible to apply for this consultancy service. The consultancy firm should have a demonstrated experience in the field of the required services.The firm team should consist of at least 3 consultants (to provide support for social and psychological and health-related issues) who have prior demonstrated experience in the consultancy aspects within the scope of the consultancy. The consultancy firm’s team, should have the following qualifications:

Academic qualification in mental health, psychosocial, psychology, health and nutrition or any other related field.

A master degree in one of the related majors is a plus.

Demonstrated knowledge of GBV related issues and technical social and psychological,

At least 5 years of experience in providing supervision/coaching services in related fields.

Demonstrated experience in providing coaching services within the scope of the consultancy. 

Very good reporting, writing, and coordination skills, with specific reference to analytical reports and studies.

Ability to develop concrete methodology and timeframe for delivering the required consultancy service within the specified duration.
