REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

 

Academic Qualifications and Professional Experience:

 

-Advanced University Degree in Finance, Public Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Social Sciences, or other related fields. A Bachelor’s Degree with 8 additional years of professional experience may also be considered.
-At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in public fiscal management and/or programmes, ideally focused on good governance and strengthening public institutions’ responsiveness, transparency, and accountability. [The consultant is required to provide relevant reference letters.]

-Proven understanding of public fiscal management within the Palestinian context, including existing actors, systems and processes related to transparency and accountability. [the consultant is requested to provide sample work to demonstrate this]

-Proven track record in conducting similar studies/ development of policy documents with donor funded projects, relevant to the assignment. [the consultant is requested to provide sample work to demonstrate this]

-Knowledge of the UN system and familiarity with UNDP procedures would be an asset.
