Call for Expression of Interest 

For PV Systems Design and Supervision Consultancy Services 

 Tasdeer, an FCDO-funded trade facilitation programme in the Occupied Palestinian Territories, is launching a multi-million dollars private sector solar energy programme in support of the Palestinian private sector. Tasdeer is soliciting Expressions of Interest from eligible and responsible companies to provide consultancy services in design and supervision for its “Private Sector Solar Power Installation Programme”. Only one consultancy firm will be selected exclusively to cover the entire work across the West Bank. Selected consultancy firm will not be eligible to participate in future tenders for implementation. 

The objective of the solar power programme is to reduce negative climate change impacts of non-renewable energy and address rising electricity costs for Palestinian industries and productive businesses. Tasdeer will offer cost-sharing grants to businesses to deliver activities addressing climate change, including the installation of solar power systems. These grants will enable businesses to not only reduce electricity costs but also increase their ability to independently generate electricity and to improve their overall competitiveness and resilience. 

Consulting Firms will be shortlisted based on the following criteria:
