MA’AN Development Center is an independent Palestinian development and training institution established in January 1989 and registered by law as a non-profit organization. The main office is located in Ramallah and the other branch offices are located in Gaza and Jenin. MA’AN's work is informed by the necessity of creating independent, self-reliant initiatives that lead to the development of human resources for sustainable development, which incorporates values of self-sufficiency and self-empowerment.

MAAN Development Centre in partnership with NRC (Norwegian refugee council) implementing a project “Humanitarian response to the most vulnerable population affected by extreme poverty, humanitarian crisis, food insecurity, and violations of International Humanitarian Law (IHL)/International Human Rights Law (IHRL) in the Gaza Strip, funded by GAC”

The activity includes delivering a specialized training program for youth and young caregivers on MA'AN Developed Life skills manual which includes Gender aspects, knowing self, communication skills, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, persuasion, critical thinking, decision making, leadership and building team-persona, time management, and skills to enable the participants to think about their futures. The manual is designed to serve young people, and caregivers aged from 18-35 to deal with life skills and overcome surrounding challenges to develop life skills and competencies to become more effective and resilient in their families and communities. Under this activity, the consultant is expected to deliver these pieces of training in the modality of 2-hour training sessions, a total of 12 sessions with each group of 10 participants. A total of 18 groups of participants comprised a total of 180 participants.
