Data Collection for Qalqiliya Municipality
Program: Sustainable Development through Improved Local Governance program (SDLG), funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and implemented by VNG International in partnership with The Ministry of Local Government, focuses on increasing legitimacy and stability in marginalized communities in rural Palestine, in the upcoming 5 years (2022-2026). By focusing on local governance, VNG International aims to strengthen Palestine’s sovereignty and control over its territory.
Assignment Title: Consulting Firm for consultation, implementation, supervision and monitoring of data collection for Qalqiliya Municipality, for 3 months.
Assignment Objective
This assignment aims to recruit an experienced consulting firm to provide consultation, implementation, supervision and monitoring of data collection exercise for Qalqiliya Municipality, for a period of 3 months. The selected firm will work with the municipality to collect property- and services-related data, which will be spatially mapped with all relevant attributes and linked with the existing municipal data. Given the efficiency of the developed application, which requires approximately 10 minutes per unit of data collection, the estimated total number of units to be collected is about 21,000.
VNG International invites interested, eligible and qualified field data collection firms/organizations to express their interest in providing the required services and request a copy of the detailed ToR by sending an "Expression of Interest" via email to: [email protected] and [email protected] by COB, Monday, 2nd of September 2024.
NB: Interested firms/organizations should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services.
VNGi will arrange for an online demo session to show the interested applicants how the software/application will be used for the data collection. The session will take place on September 5th, 2024 at 11.00 am (invitation will be shared with the interested applicants).
