Terms of Reference for Production

of a "Short Video Documentary"  for “TARABOT/ Transformative Resilience Programme.’’

Background / Introduction

The Jerusalem Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a non-profit organization governed by the special “law of JACCI.” Founded in 1936, JACCI’s members belong to various economic sectors including: tourism, trade, hospitality, contracting, industrial). Since its foundation, JACCI sought to provide its members with services to facilitate and improve their business.

JACCI is considered a representative of the business sector in Jerusalem, providing information, services and training to its members through supporting and defending their interests and helping them to open up new markets and develop their businesses.

JACCI seeks not only to provide services to its members, but also to strengthen the bonds of relationship between JACCI and its members, both commercial and industrial. Since its establishment, JACCI has increased substantially through designing and implementing a series of targeted interventions.

This activity is being funded by UNDP as part of TARABOT/Transofmative Resilience Programme and is implemented by JACCI.  As part of this activity, JACCI seeks to recruit a production company or an individual film maker and photographer to produce a short film/documentary (up to 3 minutes) that documents the whole project activities including: 

• Success stories for the beneficiaries who will be provided s legal awareness, counselling services and capacity building training.
• The Christmas market festival.
•  Tours in the old city.

Specific tasks for the Video production company/Film Director 

The company/individual should follow the donor's procedures and regulations, the video production company/ film maker and photographer will be required to;

• Develop the documentary film/s overall concept and scenario. 
• Interview selected interviewees for the film including actual beneficiaries.
• Visit the beneficiaries in their places of work and document how much the services impact their businesses. 
• Develop the documentary script and storyboard to be used in the film.
• Perform appropriate video filming with HD 1080 i50 format, high quality sound and shoot interviews with the successes stories characters, major beneficiaries and stakeholders where ever needed. 
• Present a draft documentary to JACCI for comments about content. 
• Produce one FINAL documentaries (3 minutes and 2 short snaps with messages less than one minute each) 2 documentary films in flash memory, hard disk as well as a two of the short snaps.

The deadline to submit the offer is no later than 17/11/2021 (sealed envelope) 2:30 PM by hand to our office Arab Jerusalem Chamber, Beit Hanina Al Hirbawi building 3rd floor.
