SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of 116 national SOS Children’s Villages associations, working in more than 2000 programme locations worldwide. We work together with a single vision: every child belongs to a family and grows with love, respect and security. We provide long-term, family-like care for children who have lost parental care (SOS family care service), and we work with vulnerable families and communities to help strengthen them and prevent child abandonment (family strengthening service, FS).  SOS family care is usually organised in the form of a cluster of SOS families, where each SOS parent cares for small group of children. Through our family strengthening programmes, SOS Children's Villages helps families to look after themselves by providing material support, childcare, education, counselling - whatever is needed so that families can become self-sufficient and stay together.  For more information, please see our website: http://www.sos-palestine.org

We are pleased to share a call for proposals for conducting Social Impact Assessment for one of its programmes, which is located in West Bank, Palestinian Territories based on internally developed methodology. 

General Notes:

• This bid is open to all national and international consultants (independent consultants or companies) who are legally constituted and can provide the requested services.
• Fluency in Arabic is compulsory.
• Visas or similar documents to enter Palestinian Territories are of consultant personal business.

Applicants are encouraged to hand in their proposals responsive to the Request for Proposals until the 30th of June 2018.
