Study: Economic and Social rights for Women with Disabilities in Hebron

Background

The East Jerusalem YMCA (referred to as EJ-YMCA) is a Christian not-for-profit non-governmental Palestinian Organization, established in 1948 and legally registered at the Palestinian Authority. EJ-YMCA is a full member in the World YMCA and ACT Alliance and an active and well reputed organization in the Palestinian civil society. The EJ-YMCA runs different programs including the Rehabilitation Program (RP) which is the biggest and the most spreading in the country. Since 1989, the program (EJ-YMCARP) has been operating all over the West Bank including East Jerusalem. Through its main office in Beit Sahour and field offices all over the West Bank, it targets survivors of political violence and persons with disabilities, focusing on children and young people, with a holistic approach of rehabilitative package. It operates towards realizing its vision “Towards a free and democratic Palestinian society where persons with disability and survivors of political violence obtain equal rights and opportunities and a decent life free of all types of violence, oppression, discrimination and violation of individual and national rights”.

Application

            Interested applicants should kindly submit:

1. Most recent CVs.
2. Technical offer, including the applicant’s interest, experience, the proposed methodology and action plan.
3. Financial offer, including the cost of different activities to conduct the study. Offer should be in ILS currency. Prices should be VAT included. Valid deduction at source certificate is required, otherwise a 5% will be deducted from the total amount.

The quotation must be submitted in a sealed and stamped envelope to EJ-YMCA office in your area no later than March 31st before 4:00pm. Please insert the offer title on the envelope.
