The Center for Continuing Education / Birzeit University is seeking a travel agency to procure flights and accommodation as described below:
Flights for 9 persons, from Amman to Cairo on February 1, 2025 (morning time), and from Cairo to Amman on February 5 (late evening or nighttime), Economy Class, Royal Jordanian Airline.
Accommodation in Amman on January 31, 2025 for 9 persons, single rooms, in a reputable and safe 4* hotel.
Travel Insurance for 9 persons covering Jordan and Egypt for the trip duration period, issued as required by relevant regulations of these two countries.
This tender is announced within the “Riyada” project implemented by the B-Hub at the Center for Continuing Education / Birzeit University in partnership with Spark/Palestine. The project aims - among other goals - at building the organizational capacity of business incubators operated by four Palestinian universities. As such, the trip is being organized for a delegation of senior managers and business consultants from these four business incubators.
Timetable:
Submission of price offers: January 20-21, 2025
Selection of a service provider: January 21, 2025
Signing an agreement with a selected service provider: January 22, 2025
Provision of a Request for Payment by the selected service provider (with a zero-tax invoice properly signed and stamped by the Palestinian Ministry of Finance as required by local tax exemption regulations): January 23, 2025
Issuance of a full payment by Birzeit University to a bank account of the selected service provider: January 29, 2025
Provision of a Receipt Voucher by the selected service provider: January 30, 2025
Important Note: The agreement with the service provider will include a provision for the partial refund of fees to BZU in the event that a delegation or any of its members is unable to travel to or from Cairo. Refunds will be subject to the policies and regulations of the selected airline, hotel, and insurance company.
Eligibility criteria:
An officially registered Palestinian travel agency with a valid Source of Deduction (Khasem Masdar)
Ability and willingness to provide a zero VAT invoice (the Riyada project is tax-exempted)

Interested travel agencies are invited to submit their price offers including the following (if any of these documents are missing, the price offer will be disregarded):

Tickets refund policy (for changing a date and full cancellation)
Proposed hotel
Hotel reservation cancelation polity (for changing a date and full cancelation)
Proposed insurance company for travel insurance
Price offer in USD with a breakdown of expenses (flights, hotel, travel insurance, other fees if any). 0 VAT
