Training services (Psychosocial support trainings)
Overview:
SOS Children's Villages Palestine (hereafter: SOS Palestine) has been active in the Palestinian Territories since 1966 and is registered locally there as a non-profit, non-governmental organization. The national office of SOS Palestine is located in Bethlehem and projects and programs are implemented in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. The main focus of the work is the placement of children and adolescents in a family environment (SOS Children's Village) and community-based programs on education, health, and psychosocial and economic empowerment of families. Another focus is capacity building of local community structures and community-based support mechanisms for vulnerable families. SOS Palestine's activities are largely funded by SOS Children's Villages worldwide and other SOS Association.
A three-year project funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is under implementation by SOS Palestine in West Bank and Gaza Strip with the main objective to strengthening gender equality and protection of children from violence.
Objective:
SOS Palestine is seeking to engage a company or service provider for the provision of Face to Face psychosocial support trainings during the period from July to September 2022 in Gaza and Bethlehem. The company or the service provider will be responsible for providing training on following topics:
Responsibilities:
- Provide training material for the above-mentioned training topics for SOS Palestine approval before proceeding.
- Develop trainings matrix for total of 18 hours (4 days) based on the above-mentioned topics and details.
- Design pre and post tests to evaluate trainings impact on the trainees, pre and post analysis must be included in the final report.
- Provide final training report in English includes training plan, activities, methodologies, results and lesson learned.
Conditions and criteria that must be met by the applicant:
- At least Master degree in the field of psychology, social work or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in related trainings delivery.
- Proven practical experience in PSS activities.
- Strong organizational communication skills.
- Reporting skills.
- Company or service provider located in Gaza.

- Financial Offer:
- Should be in ILS Including VAT.
- Rate should be offered per training hour.
- Should be signed and stamped.
- Should have clear breakdowns for cost items. (if any).

The offer will be evaluated by using the best value for money approach (combined scoring method). Technical proposal will be evaluated on %75 whereas the financial one will be evaluated on %25.
