About Anar
Anar is a not-for-profit organization situated in Bethlehem, Palestine. Our work is centered on advancing the psychosocial wellbeing and resilience of children who have been impacted by violence and oppression. We are committed to improving the lives of these children through various programs and interventions that prioritize their mental and emotional wellbeing.
At Anar, we believe that community-based psychosocial support and creative expression are fundamental pathways to community development and healing. Through awareness, advocacy, and community-based psychosocial services, we aim to break the cycle of oppression and intergenerational trauma and build community capacity for collective resilience and hope.
Our main office is located in Beit Sahour, yet we work throughout the West Bank and have staff members serving in various localities in the southern and northern districts. We collaborate with local communities to ensure that our services are accessible and effective, striving to reach as many children and families as possible.
Scope of Work
Anar is seeking a professional videographer and filmmaker to create a 3-5 minute film that showcases our work with children, caregivers, and communities in Bethlehem, Hebron, and the northern governorates of the West Bank. The film will include interviews with Board members, the executive director, staff members, and beneficiaries, capturing the essence of our activities.
The selected videographer and filmmaker will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Producing a 3-5 minute film about Anar’s work.
- A Short version of the film without interviews.
- Conducting interviews with Board members, the executive director, staff members, local partners and beneficiaries.
- Capturing Anar’s activities in Bethlehem, Hebron, and occasional trips to the north.
- Editing the film without narration but including subtitles in Arabic and English.
- Extracting video footage to create 10 reels.
- Three success stories (Child, Caregivers, Self Help Hub Participant)
- Providing 50 professional photos of different activities.
- Do Audio repair of the selected clips [remove wind, external noise, etc.]
- Audio design + mix stereo 2.0
- Resolution, format : Full HD
- Do Color correction and matching
- The selected individual will ensure that all visual and audio content adheres to the guidelines and values outlined in Anar's brand book.
Filming Schedule
Filming will take place over the course of one month, with a total of 1 Week. The schedule for capturing footage will be discussed and agreed upon between the videographer and Anar’s focal point. Flexibility in scheduling is required from the selected bidder.
Submission Requirements
The semi-final version for final remarks needs to be submitted by May 15th, 2025, for Anar to provide feedback. The final outcomes and the completed submission are expected by May 30th, 2025. Prices should be submitted in shekels and proposals should come from individuals, not companies.
Selection Criteria
The selected bidder must demonstrate:
- Experienced in producing films, short videos, reels, and photos.
- Skilled in creating high-quality videos and professional photos under tight deadlines.
- Minimum 3 years of technical experience for cameramen/editors in production.
- Proficient in social media tools.
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to the field.
- Expertise in videography and filmmaking.
- Flexible scheduling and availability.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English for subtitle creation.
Submission Instructions
Interested individuals should submit their proposals detailing their experience, availability, and pricing in shekels including VAT to Anar’s contact person. Proposals should also include examples of previous work in videography and filmmaking. Additionally, candidates must submit their CV, a technical offer, and a financial offer.
Submissions need to be by closed envelopes and by hand at our main office in Beit Sahour. The office hours are Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 8 AM to 4 PM.
Evaluation Process and Method
Each proposal will be assessed on both its technical merits and price component, with a maximum possible score of 100 points. The technical proposal will be allocated a maximum of 50 points, and the price component will also be allocated a maximum of 50 points. Technical proposals will be evaluated based on a desk review. Anar evaluators will read technical proposals and assess the quality of portfolios and submitted profiles. Scores from the desk review will be allocated according to the table below:

Additional Requirements
The videographer and filmmaker must be able to travel with Anar's staff to capture footage in different locations. Times for taking footage will be discussed and agreed upon, but flexibility in scheduling is required. The film team must be available for the entire duration specified for filming. Anar team provides transportation from the main office in Beit Sahour to the field.
