Course Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand the proposal writing process as a whole (planning, research, writing, and follow up).
- Understand how to create a donor database/donor mapping as well as how to reach out to donors that relate to your organization’s goals.
- Write effective grant proposals that are structured and in logical format, with all key components.

- What are the key components in a proposal?
- What are the most important things a donor/funding agency wants to know?
- What is a project cycle?
- What is included in a detailed implementation plan?
- What are indicators? Please give an example.
- What should the budget include?
- What other information (supporting documents) should be attached or may be requested when a proposal is submitted?
